This business only exists to make money for the owners. As a home health aide I received poverty wages, no reimbursement for mileage, and my schedule was ALWAYS wrong. I would be clearly double booked (scheduled to be with 2 different clients at same time) or I would be scheduled for LESS time than what the care plan dictates.
I have had no issues with N.D. Their office staff is friendly and have a handle on their clients and crew and all of the bureaucracy being a State/Fed reimbursed business. Previous providers didn't know which office you should call for whom, who was where or doing what. I have been very pleased with New Dimensions.
So if you currently work here: quit. You can do much better.
I have been with this company for almost five years and feel it has been the best move I could have made in my "work life". The atmosphere is clearly professional with a genuine family feel. You know you are appreciated and cared about. The well being of staff and clients is what this company is about. We have a well orchestrated staff of nurses, "office staff" and caregivers, working together for the best outcome of our clients. The company is locally owned with the owners always available. We work hard and enjoy our jobs and are OFTEN rewarded with pot lucks, employee appreciation get togethers, employee of the month rewards and a few other perks. I often think about retiring but why??? I love what I do and I love the people and company I work with and for.
