Great place to take a hike through a flower rich prairie with a well stocked bookstore and gift shop. Lots of prairie wetland birds like Pied-billed Grebe, coots, and Virginia Rails and Sora. Thriving Purple Martin colony and lots of summering Sedge Wrens reside here. Just off I-94.
There are geese and ducks here from spring to fall, and this park is on the migration path for monarchs. If you love nature photography this place offers endless photo opportunities.
